Aurora Flight Sciences 2013 Visit #2
Here is a collection of photos from a visit to Aurora Flight Sciences in Manassas, VA in June 2013. The purpose was to install instruments in the DA-42 Centaur OPA in preparation for upcoming research flights in the Arctic.
The aerial photos below were taken by Dick Filbey of Aurora Flight Sciences. They were taken during four test flights using a Canon Powershot G15 camera mounted in the DA-42. Flights were made over Manassas, Warrenton, the Chesapeake Bay, and Wallops Island, Virginia.
